16-Mar-23 – The Loop is the fastest-growing downtown in the United States and the fastest-growing neighborhood in Chicago, according to a new report by Chicago Loop Alliance. The study estimates 4,000 people have moved to the Loop since the 2020 census, bringing the neighborhood’s population to 46,000. Each household spends an average of $18,000 in the Loop per year, according to the report.
