In February 2020 Delhi elections, AAP made history in politics by winning the trust of people for third time in a row, with 62 out of 70 seats and 53.57% of the votes. March saw a life threatening pandemic with the spread of COVID-19, and AAP sprang into action.

On the back of a surge of popular support, the AAP made a spectacular debut by winning 28 (out of 70) seats in the Delhi Assembly. Dismissed by mainstream political parties, political pundits and the news media as a minor player, the AAP scored what is now considered one of the biggest political upsets of all time.

Arvind Kejriwal was sworn in the Chief Minister of Delhi for the second time on February 14, 2015. Earlier, he became the youngest Chief Minister of Delhi when he was sworn for the first time on 28 December 2013.

AAP will open 20 new colleges under Delhi administration on the outskirts of the city in partnership with the villages of Delhi. Further we will double the existing seat capacity of the Delhi government administered colleges including Delhi’s flagship university, the Ambedkar University.
